    All of our window shutters are priced by the square metre with the majority of the configuration options, all included at no extra cost. Therefore, once you know which material you would like your shutters made from, we are able to give you a quotation straight away from the sizes you provide. For larger jobs, this price is fully inclusive of survey, manufacture and installation.

  • Are window shutters durable?

    These shutters are exceptionally durable. Whether crafted from solid hardwood or a moisture-resistant material, their rigid framing is designed to withstand any type of conditions, maintaining their precise shape and fit for years. When properly manufactured, high-quality shutters represent a true long-term investment, often lasting well beyond 15 or even 20 years. A simple wipe-down with a dry or damp soft cloth is typically all that is needed to keep them pristine.

  • What are the benefits of installing shutters?

    Installing window shutters provides a host of practical and aesthetic advantages for your home.   • What is the lead time for installing shutters?

    The standard lead time for custom wooden shutters typically falls between 10 and 12 weeks. This extended timeline is primarily dictated by the logistics of international shipping, as most custom wood products are manufactured overseas and must be shipped by sea freight to the UK. While manufacturers build in some buffer time, this lead time can occasionally be prolonged by unforeseen circumstances, such as customs delays. For an extra cost, you can choose an air freight option that will make the delivery quicker. Alternatively you can choose UK faux wood custom shutters for interiors that are typically available in only 3 weeks!

  • How long does it take to install shutters?

    Installing window shutters varies widely in time, mainly depending on the shutter size and the window's shape. The trickiest part is that shutters must be perfectly square, which means the installer often has to spend extra time adjusting the frame if there’s not already a perfect fit. For a simple rectangular window, it might take about an hour to complete the installation. However, complex shapes take longer. For instance, a bay window usually needs 3 to 4 hours, as you have to align multiple angled frames just right. Since every installation is a bit different, these are very rough estimates. The focus is always on getting a high-quality fit, which sometimes means taking a little extra time!
