We have been fully operational for over 2 months now and home appointments and those in our showroom are working very well. We would like to thank our customers for all of their help as we have transitioned and we look forward to helping you with all of your blind & shutter requirements very soon.

We kindly as that customers now visiting our showroom bring and wear their own mask. This is in addition to the procedure states below. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Update 26th May 2020
Our new COVID safe procedures are working very well and giving our customers peace of mind. We are learning all the time and adapting what we do to keep everyone safe.
Update 15th May 2020
Following the updated government guidance this week we have spent time carrying out risk assessments and establishing processes. Next week we will start our return to work which will include some home appointments. All initial contact will be on the telephone. We will share our process with you and ask questions. Providing it is safe to do so, we will be able to arrange a home appointment.
Our showroom will remain closed but we hope to reopen soon.
Update: 4th May 2020
We are now arranging awning surveys for next week. Our supplier is resuming manufacturing from today and we now have a process which will enable us to survey outside your property whilst following social distancing guidelines. For the time being, these are the only appointments we are booking and our showroom remains closed.
Update: 25th April 2020
Due to the continued lockdown period we remain closed for the time being. As we have highlighted before, following best practice and government guidelines to keep everyone safe is our first priority. We are, however, hoping to slowly return to work soon at which point we will be able to confirm installation and new appointments. Meanwhile, please stay safe and thank you for your patience.
Update: 2nd April 2020
We wanted to provide an update for our customers who have current ongoing orders with us or who have recently had an appointment or a quotation.
Orders in Progress
Currently, we are unable to visit customer homes and install any products even if they are ready to do so. We will keep you up to date and ensure your products are installed as soon as possible. Although our showroom and factory are closed, we are available via webchat, email and phone if you have any questions.
If you have any questions about your quotation then please get in touch. Additionally, if you would like some advice or would like an appointment when we are open again, we can arrange this for you.
If we, unfortunately, had to cancel an appointment then we will rearrange this following the latest government guidelines. We hope that when restrictions are relaxed, home appointments following best practice will be permitted.
Keeping our team and customers safe by following the government guidelines is our number one priority. Thank you for your understanding.
Update: 28th March 2020
At the end of the first week of isolation, we hope that everyone is staying safe and getting used to the new isolation rules. At Blind Technique, without the ability to come to work or visit customers there is very little we can do work-wise. Most of us are finding new ways to do things and spend time with our families, read our blog for a light-hearted view from one of our team about their first week in isolation! To do our part and to adhere to the latest government guidelines we are sadly closing our doors from today. This is a temporary measure and we hope to be back and helping you as soon as it is safe to do so.
