Vertical Blinds

Vertical blinds are stylish and practical.

The vertical louvres enable you to filter the light entering your room from total privacy they rotate through 180º to deflect the suns rays whatever the time of day. There is an option to curve the track for bay or bow windows and stagger the louvers for sloping windows. Additionally you can choose whether your vertical blind opens to the right, left, or splits to open both sides like a pair of curtains would.

Motorised vertical blinds

Vertical blinds can be motorised, enabling you to tilt the louvres remotely. This is a great option for difficult to reach blinds and also to eliminate control cords. Remote control can be via a hand held device or a wall mounted switch and most recently connected to your home hub and controlled via app!

Allusion blinds

This is one of the newest types of blind system to the market and is based on a vertical blind. Using the same hardware and components, these new fabrcis give you an upgraded solution that is somewhere between a curtain or voile and a vertical blind. Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are vertical blinds for offices?

    Whilst vertical blinds are suited to and a popular choice for offices, they are also very popular within the residential market. They are a good value solution, particularly for larger windows and doors. There are some on trend colours and patterns that stand out and lend moreso to a home than an office. For both home and office, whether you need to keep the light off your TV screen or your Powerpoint presentation, the control you have over the louvres ensures you'll get the levels of light and privacy just right.

  • How long does fitting take?

    This will depend on the number of vertical blinds you have and their size. As a very rough guide around 20-30 minutes per blind is an average. Once the brackets are secured, the headrail will clip in and the pre-prepared and weighted louvres can be hung. Please note that this can vary considerably depending on what we are fitting into and the size of the window.

  • Can I just replace my louvres?

    In theory yes you can, depending on your hardware system and state of your hangars? Provided these are compatible with our system, or still in tact, we can offer just a replacement louvre service for you. Please note, some older products may not adhere to current child-safety legislation and so would need to be adapted or replaced.

  • Are they guaranteed!?

    All of our products are guaranteed. We provide you with information about how to operate your blinds for many years of enjoyment.
